The White Queen is a character who comes out in Lewis Carroll’s fantasy novella Through the Looking-Glass. With a motif of Through the Looking-Glass being theatricals of the game of chess, the White Queen could be considered as a protagonist and ally to Alice, although she’s perhaps less helpful than the Red Queen in terms of the information she divulges.
The White Queen power is to move so swiftly away from enemies, leaving the White King far behind, reflect on the abilities of a queen in chess, as well as serving as a contrast for the Red Queen’s habit of confronting enemies head on.

Hathaway summed up her character with a caption on a magnet of Happy Bunny holding a knife; “Cute but psycho. Alice in Wonderland is coming soon on 2010. This movie about fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton. This movie is an extension to the Lewis Carroll novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass.

The film will use a technique combining motion capture technology and live action. Mia Wasikowska plays the role of Alice, alongside Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, and Crispin Glover as The Knave of Hearts.
Alice in Wonderland film is due for release on March 5, 2010 and the film will be released in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D, as well as in regular theatres.
