What would you feel when you got into a subway and people there didn’t wear any pants at all? They had their complete clothes on, but they only wore like boxers, underpants, or even thongs?

Well, welcome to No Pants Day Subway Ride! It’s an actual annual event, where everyone who took the subway, took off their pants right after they’re on the subway and ride it as if nothing happened. It started in New York in 2002 as a prank by Improv Everywhere, where 7 people took off their pants and rode on the subway. Now it’s been an annual event with followers up to thousands of people. No Pants Day Subway Ride 2011 still took place although the cold wind blew and the temperature was about 32 degrees Fahrenheit, with around 3,500 people participating.

The No Pants Day Subway Ride is a part of No Pants Day event that first happened in 1985 or 1986. The idea was based on a prank, actually, to have people act as if there were nothing strange about not wearing any pants at all in public. Now the event has gone national; in New York with the subway ride, in Texas with the University of Texas at Austin, and in Idaho. Even in Australia, they also have the similar event.

With the change of year and new year waiting in front of the door, all nations in the world seems to celebrate the upcoming year ahead. Of course they have lots of plans going in mind, so let’s see what they’re up to.

In New York, the celebration going on well, as you can always expect from this metropolitan city. Many people have made the New York streets busy and crowded. The New York celebration was focused on Time Square, with more or less a million people are expected to come. There were no incidents or riots reported, and everyone seemed to be in a very good mood and behaved themselves. However, that didn’t make the police let go of their surveillance. Anyone came to Time Square had to go through metal detector inspection, just for security reason.  People seemed eager to celebrate the New Year outside although they had problems with blizzard, whose snow covered the street up to 20-inch high.

Meanwhile, Londoners celebrated the new year with fireworks at St.Stephen’s Tower. In Berlin, thousands of people gathered at Brandenburg Gate and enjoyed light show. In Australia, people enjoyed firework show at Sydney Harbor. Two minor earthquakes happened during new year celebration in Christchurch, New Zealand. Luckily, no casualties were reported.

When holiday season is coming around, it’s normal when you want to spend it with your family and loved ones. The same thing also happened to Rihanna. She was spotted to spend her Christmas holiday in Barbados, her hometown, to celebrate her holiday with her family.

Rihanna is Rihanna. Wherever she goes, she always manages to get attention from the press and her surroundings. Whatever she wears also always manages to be a top hit list and becomes a fashion trend. She was spotted around a beach in Barbados, wearing a swimming clothing with cat theme on it. That’s right, the clothing has the complete eyes and the whiskers things. That clothing would look great on older, middle-aged women. But somehow she managed to make it look cute and fashionable and also stylish. That’s crazy, isn’t it?

Well, she should have been relieved it looks so good on her because it cost quite a fortune, since it’s designer made We Are Famous. Although Rihanna was in holiday spirit and atmosphere, it didn’t stop her from having lunch with Simon Cowell and Sir Philip Green, the Topshop boss. Her holiday season didn’t last long since she then flew back to Las Vegas to prepare a new year’s party and be the host.

Well, if you’re one of the horror movies fans who really enjoy watching the combat between human and zombies, you’d love watching the movie series “The Walking Dead.”

The Walking Dead movie series is actually based on comic series with the same name, created by Charlie Adlard, Tony Moore, and Robert Kirkman. The movie series produced by Frank Darabont and aired for the first time on AMC network on October 31, 2010. The main story is about the efforts from a small survival group after the zombie outbreak – which causes the end of the world-, who are traveling across America to find a save and secluded place, far away from the still existing zombies. The leader of this small pack is Rick Grimes, a former deputy sheriff from King Country, Georgia. The story isn’t only about their fights against zombies but also about how to pull themselves together and keep being sane, considering the pressure and the constant death threat of being eaten by zombies. Not a very fun way to die, I guess.

After aired, the response from viewers are quite positive, with many of them saying good comments about the movie although some are saying the bad stuff. With this result, the producer is confident enough to produce the episodes for the upcoming second season.

2.       Get regular pap test to detect cancer early so it can be anticipated and treated.  Pap test also can find changes in the cervix when it still precancerous. It is the only gynecological cancer. Currently, that can be prevented and still can be cured through routine screening.

3.       Safe sex. Don’t do sex with multiple partners or use condom.

4.       Do not smoke! Women who smoke are over two times more at risk of getting cervical cancer than women who do not smoke. Smoking exposes your body to cancer causing chemical that can demage the DNA of cervical cells and and allow them to contracting the HPV virus.

5.       Consuming a lot of vegetables and fruits. When you don’t eat many vegetables and fruits you will miss out on protective antioxidants and phytocemicals to help prevent not only cervical cancer, but also other forms of cancer.
